About Doctor
Ever since he joined the department of Urology at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre and Institute of Transplantation Sciences (IKDRC-ITS), He has a rich experience in the evaluation and management of a large number of patients. He was given independent responsibility of taking care of pediatric urology patients. He has adequate hands on experience in open surgeries and endoscopy. He saw about 20 to 25 patients on an outpatient clinic and he had a clinic thrice a week. He could manage on his own surgeries including nephrectomy (Open and Lap), pyeloplasty (Open and Lap), ureteral reimplantation (Intravesical and extravesical), hypospadias repair (one stage and two stage), staged repair of exstrophy-epispadias complex (male and female), management of urogenital sinus etc. I have also performed various endoscopic procedures like posterior urethral valve fulguration; Deflux injection, PCNL, URS and PCCL. Recently he was awarded the best paper award for Our experience in retroperitoneoscopic heminephrectomy in children at an annual conference of the pediatric urologists of India at Agra. For last 3 years he is doing Private Practice as a Consultant Pediatric Urologist in the state of Gujarat. Being the only Pediatric Urologist in the state, he is serving the population of nearly 60 million people. He worked as a Consultant and Associate Professor of Pediatric Urology in Ahmedabad for more than 3 years at Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre and Institute of Transplantation Sciences (IKDRC-ITS)
